Boxers do not cut less weight than mixed martial artists? If so, why?

I have often noticed that MMAS weigh ten to fifteen pounds more time fighting than they did in weighing. Boxers on the other hand seems to weigh more or less what they did at the weigh in time to fight. It appears that a great advantage to outweigh the time to fight So why not reduce weight, like a boxer MMAS?

1. Far more weight division in boxing after MMA. It is typically less than 5 pounds or less the difference between most of the weight divisions. How weight training is beneficial to any exercise / weight loss regimen?

My dad says that builds muscle and stuff. Is weight training (machines and free weights) necessary to any exercise regimen? For the record, it used to be able to lift anything heavy fighting around 30 pounds. and now I can lift 30-35 lbs. easily.

Weight training is beneficial in many ways. First, increase muscle mass and therefore burn more calories, so it will be easier to lose weight. Yes, muscle weighs more than fat, and you can get a little, but no matter what they weigh about as much as the weight is made. Secondly, weightlifting is work – not fun like dancing or something – but you will feel better to do. You not only release those endorphins great, but you will get a sense of accomplishment as you see yourself able to lift more. And there is nothing wrong with extra energy. Thirdly – and this is especially important for women – weight bearing exercise helps maintain bone density. Most older women 60 years can not lift more than 10 pounds over their heads. You do not want to be one of them. Therefore, it is not essential, but with all the benefits, is an idea really good.
