Why are more and more Americans have weight problems?
50 years ago, people of average build standards today would be considered chubby. Go to a crowded area, count the number of people who seem to have a weight problem in this day and age. What's causing this? Is there any way to stop this as a society?
many reasons. The U.S. lives a more stressful lifestyle than most countries. The Stress is a major contributor to weight gain. We are very consumer oriented so that all work 60-70hr work week, leaving little time for exercise or family. We tend to go for the quick fix, ie .. fast food etc.. The amt little time we have for our jobs we spent trying to recover. Exercise is the last thing on our minds. The U.S. also has a very high level of depression, which is another major contributor to weight gain. Moreover, New studies have shown that Americans have a cannot. of parasites within their parasites Bodies. The absorb all the bad things that the body does not need and store. The water supply and are guilty of this. A good "clean" can help a person drop as much as 15 pounds. Moreover, with the exception of morbid obesity, we must remember the ideal height and weight chart has not changed. People generally are larger. Take the average height, for example. Now for a woman is about 5-8, but 10 years ago, was approx. 5'3. People are changing and evolving, but the paperwork is the same. As a society we must begin to enjoy of our lives. Stop trying to have more and live longer.
